Lead Server / Bartender Closer

Hourly wages are starting compensation and may be adjusted based on experience after 90 day probationary period. Note: This job does receive tips, includes tips (wages, plus tips usually exceed $20/hour) .

*Job Summary*

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for periodically overseeing a team within a food & beverage service environment, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service while being able to serve and/or tend bar during the shift. Your leadership skills will be crucial in driving team performance and achieving business objectives.

*Duties*

- Manage and lead a team of associates to meet sales goals and provide exceptional customer service

- Lead, Supervise and maintain restaurant standards to enhance the customer satisfaction.

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control procedures

- Train, develop, and coach team members to improve their skills and performance

- Conduct recruiting activities to build a strong team

Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Take drink and food orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items in a fast manner

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stations/sections

- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer

- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders

- Oversee and assist with opening and closing duties as required

*Experience*

- Proven experience in team management, preferably in a food & beverage service setting

- Strong understanding of retail math and pos systems

- Knowledge of food & beverage management practices and procedures including ServeSafe food safety practices and procedures with current certification

- Ability to lead by example and motivate team members

- Experience in training development and coaching techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $15.00 per hour
