Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Lead Server, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing top-tier service, guiding fellow team members, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver outstanding guest service with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take and accurately relay guest orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and presentation
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and timely delivery of dishes in coordination with kitchen staff
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities
• Oversee restaurant cleanliness, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
• Support the training of new team members on serving techniques, POS operation, and customer service standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable and POS platforms while maintaining accountability for cash handling

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is highly desirable for supporting food prep and plating tasks
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles within a hospitality setting
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; ability to upsell menu items effectively
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team seamlessly
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
