Lead Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in manual and automation testing, with strong leadership skills to guide a team of QA engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through effective test strategies, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring effective test coverage and execution.
2. Define and implement robust QA processes for manual and automation testing.
3. Collaborate with product, development, and business teams to understand requirements.
4. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
5. Drive automation strategy and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
6. Conduct functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
7. Track defects, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolutions.
8.Monitor and report QA metrics to stakeholders and management.
9.Act as the single point of contact for all QA-related activities across projects.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 3+ years of QA experience.
3.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile practices.
4.Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
5.Proficiency in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, etc.).
6.Database testing experience (SQL/NoSQL).
7.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
8.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
