Lead Teacher

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required

Credentials I & II - preferred (WITHIN 6-MONTHS OF HIRE)

BSAC - preferred (WITHIN 6-MONTHS OF HIRE)

SIDS - preferred (PRIOR TO WORKING WITH INFANTS)

CPR/FA - preferred (WITHIN 90-DAYS OF HIRE)

REQUIRED PRIOR TO START DATE

Qualifying Letter from DCDEE (https://ncabcms.nc.gov/DCDEE/Applicant/) - Required

Current Physical and Negative TB Test

Reliable Transportation

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage classroom activities, ensure a safe/nurturing environment, and all students are included.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and educational standards.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to ensure student progress
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into daily activities.

WORK SHIFT

Monday thru Friday - Second Shift - 36 - 40 Hrs per week

Second Shift Hours 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
