Job Summary
As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You will lead curriculum development, implement effective teaching strategies, and provide support for students with diverse needs. What you’ll do
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring a positive and productive environment for all students.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences and facilitate student engagement.
- Provide early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support in literacy, behavior management, and social skills.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster strong communication skills among students through speech therapy techniques and collaborative activities.
- Mentor and support fellow educators in best practices for special education, behavior management, and classroom management.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or special education environments.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other special needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy practices and childhood development principles is essential.
- Experience in implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Proficiency in using learning technology tools to enhance educational delivery is preferred.
