Lead Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing educational programs for students, focusing on various subjects and specialized areas to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Provide instruction in subjects such as physical education, literacy education, and behavioral therapy
- Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching methods
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Implement early intervention strategies for students with developmental disabilities

Qualifications
- 30 Semester hours with 6 in ECE and 1 year experience
- Proven experience working with students, particularly those with developmental disabilities
- Strong understanding of classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.25 per hour
