Overview

Hello! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our Little Rugrats Early Learning Academy team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of children aged 6 weeks to 3 years, helping them develop essential skills through engaging activities and structured learning.

Duties

  • Follow and implement our age-appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly and productive learning space.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with administration, staff, parents/guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns related to their welfare.
  • Provide early intervention support for children who may need additional assistance in their learning journey.
  • Organize activities that promote growth in all areas of development and foundational concepts in education through play-based learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Maintain state-required certifications and training hours.
  • Manage infant/toddler hygiene and toilet education.
  • Experience
  • 90 hours of Child Development certification.
  • 45 clock hours in infant development.
  • Punctual and professional.
  • Experience in child care or preschool settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies is essential.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development techniques tailored for preschool-aged children.
  • Strong skills in classroom management to effectively engage young learners.
  • A genuine passion for childcare and child welfare is crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
