Palos Park Episcopal Daycare and Learning Center, a trusted childcare center for 40 years, is hiring a creative, nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic teacher. Our mission is to provide children with positive learning experiences in a caring and safe environment.

Requirements:

DCFS Education Qualifications required:

• 60 semester (90 quarter) hours from an accredited college/university with 6 semester (9 quarter) hours in child care/development courses (birth to age 6); or
• 1 year of ECE experience + 30 semester hours with 6 hours in child carel/development courses; or
• Completion of a CDA program in Early Childhood.
• Daycare experience preferred.

Job Details:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week).
• Responsibilities include planning lessons, creating a fun learning environment, parent communication, and maintaining classroom standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Early Childhood Education: 2 years (Preferred)
• Childcare: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR and First Aid Certification (Preferred)
