Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to diverse learning needs, including literacy, math, speech therapy, and behavioral health strategies.
  • Supervise and support teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with families, specialists, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities or developmental delays.
  • Manage classroom environments to promote positive behavior management, effective classroom management techniques, and inclusive practices aligned with Montessori or preschool methodologies.
  • Oversee assessment processes such as standardized testing and progress monitoring to track student growth and inform instructional adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to early intervention, deaf education, autism spectrum disorder support, and special education requirements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of lesson plans, behavioral interventions, progress reports, and communication logs to support transparent reporting and continuous improvement.

Experience

AssociateDegree

  • Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood education settings or private schools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across literacy education, math instruction, behavioral therapy, and speech therapy.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities such as autism or developmental delays; familiarity with IEP processes is essential.
  • Strong background in classroom management, behavior management strategies, and child development principles.
  • Prior experience mentoring or supervising teaching staff in a preschool or special education environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of library services integration, tutoring techniques, and early intervention practices enhances your effectiveness as a Lead Teacher.
