Strong skills in classroom management as well as planning and teaching curriculum is required. Job duties include:

• Planning for and teaching children in small group and large group settings.
• Utilizing ongoing assessments to provide targeted instruction based on the child's current academic ability (18m and older)
• Teaching in a fun and engaging way using songs, interactive games and hands on activities
• Compliance with Childcare Licensing state health/safety standards
• Routine chores to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment
• Providing a loving and nurturing environment
• Communicating with parents effectively regarding the well being and care of their child through frequent verbal and electronic communication

All Lead Teacher applicants must have at least two years experience working with children in a licensed child care or daycare setting.

Opportunities for pay increase are considered at 90 days based on performance and excellent attendance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
