Small Wonders Discovery & Learning Center is growing, and we are hiring dedicated, dependable educators for our West Branch AND Columbiana Locations.

Whether you’re an experienced Lead Teacher or just starting your journey in childcare, we have a place for you on our team.

Now Hiring:

• Lead Infant Teacher (6 weeks–18 months)-HIRING FOR WB & COLUMBIANA
• Lead Older Toddler Teacher (2 1/2–3 years)-HIRING FOR WB
• Lead School Age Teacher (5–12 years)-HIRING FOR WB & COLUMBIANA
• Floater (all age groups – great entry-level opportunity)-HIRING FOR ALL 6 LOCATIONS

• Lead Teachers: $12.00–$15.50/hour (Based on Education and Experience!)
• Floaters: $11.00–$12/hour (Based on Education and Experience in the field!)

Lead Teacher Requirements:

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
• At least 1 year of Lead Teacher experience in a licensed childcare setting
• Strong understanding of child development
• Organized, reliable, and confident in classroom management
• Ability to build strong relationships with children and families

Floater Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to learn and grow (we will train you!)
• Dependable and flexible
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to help at other locations (A PLUS)

What You’ll Do:

• Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
• Support routines, transitions, and daily structure
• Maintain proper ratios and active supervision
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Follow all center policies and licensing requirements

Requirements for ALL Positions:

• Must meet Ohio Department of Job and Family Services licensing requirements
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks
• Strong attendance and reliability are required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be active throughout the day (lifting, bending, etc.)
• Willingness to complete required trainings
• Familiarity with Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a plus
