Lead Teacher- Childcare / Preschool

Overview:

We are seeking professional and dedicated Lead Teachers to join the Legacy Learning Center family. As a teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the minds and lives of young children and will have the opportunity to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide consistent, age-appropriate supervision and care for the children in your classroom

- Develop and implement lesson plans based on the provided curriculum themes and Classroom Learning Objectives

- Create a safe, clean and inclusive classroom environment for children

- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through various activities

- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior

- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and other relevant information

Qualifications:

- A minimum of two years previous experience working with children in an educational setting

- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to pass a state and federal background check

- High School diploma or GED

- CDA or Bachelors degree in Early Education or Child Development (preferred, not required)

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
