Lead Teacher Responsibilities

• Foster a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each child in the classroom
• Engage with children through play-based learning and thoughtfully planned activities that encourage exploration and growth
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
• Communicate with parents daily during pick-up, maintaining a professional and friendly rapport
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom that aligns with health and safety standards

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
This position does require individuals who apply to be Lead Teacher qualified by DCFS standards. Our goal is to hire an individual who is also Director qualified as well. We do have the flexibility to bring someone aboard who is currently enrolled in classes to complete their Director qualifications. We’re seeking an individual who is eager to grow within our organization. Over the next one to two years, our current owner plans to transition out of daily on-site responsibilities and at that time will be looking to appoint a full-time director to lead the center. This is a unique opportunity for someone with vision, leadership potential, and a passion for early childhood education to step into a key role and help shape the future of EduCare Learning Center.
