Lead Teacher for Classroom

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, fostering their academic and personal growth. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's educational journey.

Duties

• Implement Frogstreet curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Provide individualized support for students with special needs through early intervention strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with students by understanding their developmental needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or private school environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
