Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques.
• Collaborate with families to support each child's developmental needs and communicate progress clearly and compassionately.
• Lead classroom activities that promote physical movement, creativity, and cognitive development while ensuring safety and child welfare.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on curriculum development, classroom management, and best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate
• Bilingual preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
• Pediatric CPR/First aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Experience with special education programs or working with children requiring additional support is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.
• Certification or degree in early childhood education, preschool teaching credentials, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with childcare regulations, daycare standards, private school environments, and standardized testing procedures.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
