Lead Teacher Needed for Infant Classroom

We are in search of an experienced infant teacher in our 6 week-1 year old classroom. This is a part time position of 20 hours per week, with opportunity for more hours with covering days off requests or aftercare hours. The ideal person will have experience in infant care, teaching basic skills, infant-toddler development, planning and carrying out age appropriate activities, diapering procedures, bottle feeding as well as assisting beginning eaters, managing multiple individual schedules through out the day, classroom cleanliness, and working as a team. The required hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:15am-230pm.

As we are a fully state licensed facility, background and fingerprint checks, medical form, and training modules are required for employment.

Responsibilities:

• Create a fun and safe environment
• Develop schedules and routines
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Communicate with parents on chilldren's growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all children

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with infants
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and get up and down off floor
