Lead Teacher, Toddler (9:00am - 6:00pm)

We’re currently seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Toddler Classroom (ages 18–24 months). What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (ECE coursework preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, sit on the floor, and move quickly to meet toddlers’ needs
• Strong communication skills with families and team members
• A warm, nurturing personality with patience, consistency, and compassion

What You’ll Do:

• Create a safe, calm, and engaging classroom that supports toddlers’ need for routine, exploration, and connection
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support language development, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and sensory exploration
• Maintain accurate documentation including attendance, daily reports, food program records, milestone tracking, and incident reports using Brightwheel or similar software
• Use positive guidance and responsive caregiving practices, including Conscious Discipline, to support emotional regulation and early social skills
• Collaborate closely with co-teachers and leadership to ensure consistency and high-quality care
• Meet toddlers’ basic needs with care and respect, including diapering, handwashing, feeding, naptime, and emotional comfort
