Lead Technical Safety Engineer

Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a Lead Technical Safety Engineer to work in our PMS project.

The primary location is outside KSA, but you may be required to work in KSA.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least fourteen(14) years of experience; Eight (6) years of them within the field of Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial
• Fire Protection, Fire & Gas detection experience in the design of Fire Protection system.
• Process Safety Studies, utilities and offsite facilities experience at the conceptual, FEED, or detailed design stage of medium to large size projects.
• Knowledge of process safety & Fire engineering practices, economics principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ensure Pre FEED Preliminary Hazard Assessment recommendations are included in FEED deliverables.
• Check, review and approve all Technical safety deliverables by FEED contractor.
• Strong knowledge in Fire and Gas protection, FW network and HSE studies and workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL etc)
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.
