Lead Technician, Mechanical II

Job Purpose

• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Phosphate Mechanical Plant Equipment to ensure

equipment productivity and reliability during plant operation at all times.

Key Accountabilities

• Receives detailed and prioritized Work Orders from Supervisor to repair or maintain mechanical equipment to always ensure equipment operation efficiently and effectively.

• Following Ma’aden Work Permit System and LOTO procedure always ensure a safe working acts/conditions and environment.

• Strips equipment to ascertain maintenance or repair requirements. Corrective maintenance including dismantling equipment, inspection & identification of damaged spares and request supervisor for required spares, inspection of receives spares as per specifications, reassembling/repairing of the equipment as per the standard maintenance procedure /manufacturer’s specs. Preventive maintenance as per standard maintenance procedure /PM strategies.

• Carries out good housekeeping by ensuring the area is left clean and tidy that no tools are left lying around after completion of job and before closing work permit.

• Writes and submits reports to supervisor regarding predictive maintenance requirements of equipment, tools and consumable requirements, etc.

• Participates in the training of Saudi National who may be assigned to his section/area.

• Performs other similar or related duties as directed by his supervisor
  

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of Secondary 10 Years Education + 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or 2 years formal Trade Certificate Training with min. 8 Years’ Experience.

Minimum Experience:

• 5 years’ related field experience or Materials Handling Plant Maintenance
