Creative Play Preschool is looking for a Preschool Lead Teacher to guide our lively, imaginative group of 3-year-olds. This role is perfect for someone who loves structure but isn’t afraid of a little glitter, laughter, and plenty of “why?” questions.

Your Daily Impact

• Guide a class of young preschoolers through hands-on, play-focused activities
• Create a classroom rhythm that is consistent, calm, and welcoming
• Prepare fun and developmentally appropriate lessons that help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically
• Support children as they develop independence, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Keep families connected by sharing updates, progress, and classroom highlights
• Work closely with a team that collaborates, supports, and learns together

What We’re Hoping You Bring

• Prior experience working with early learners (3-year-olds is a plus!)
• NC Lead Teacher Credential preferred
• Background Check Qualification Letter required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enthusiasm for creative teaching methods and child-centered learning
• Ability to juggle multiple things at once (because preschool life is lively!)
• A positive attitude and willingness to keep growing professionally

Pay & Schedule

• $18–$20 per hour
• Full-time, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
