We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Instructor to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on toddler care, literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention services.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistent classroom management and curriculum delivery.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Conduct assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones.
- Incorporate Montessori or other specialized teaching techniques to enhance learning experiences for toddlers.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management, and early intervention strategies.
- Experience developing curriculum that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social skills.
- Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive classroom practices for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Prior experience in preschool or private school environments is preferred.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; Montessori certification is a plus.
