Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our center. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and individualized attention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in toddler care and classroom management.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support the child's learning journey.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive learning experience across all age groups.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
