Responsibilities:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in a daycare setting.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive curriculum.
- Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines to promote healthy habits.
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Teach basic math concepts through engaging and interactive lessons.
- Support the behavioral health and well-being of all children in the classroom.

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and best practices.
- Familiarity with physical education principles and techniques.
- Experience implementing behavioral therapy strategies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience we are looking for:

- At least 1 year of prior experience in childcare

- Post-Secondary school degree

- Organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills

- Oral and written communication skills
