Lead Toddler Teacher

$500.00 signing bonus to qualified applicants with 45 hours after 90 days.

Do you have a take-charge attitude and the desire to advance in your career? LU/MLA is hiring for a toddler-twos position.

Teachers must:

• Serve as a guide in instructing students on proper classroom behavior
• Help keep records for assessments and attendance
• Get materials and equipment ready to help teachers prepare for class
• Reinforce lessons by reviewing material one-on-one and in small groups with students
• Supervise students during lunch and outdoor play, as well as in between activities
• Assist students who need additional help learning a specific concept
• Additional duties as required by student age
• Assist when the lead is unavailable
• Work in small group instruction
• Position Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Must have prior classroom experience
• Current CPR and First Aid
• 45 Hours mandated state education begins at $16.00/hour
• CDA begins at $17.00/hour to $17.50 with experience
• Scholarships available to continue your education all the way through your Masters Degree if you desire. Potential to move into our private school as a teachers aide or elementary teacher.
• We are closed the week of Christmas for vacation
