Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. Duties
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed; maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress and developmental milestones
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregivers to ensure high-quality care and instruction
- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development and adapt activities accordingly
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting, especially with toddlers
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Excellent classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively and positively
- Experience with childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and developmental activities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with parents, team members, and children
- Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning from an early age
