Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will lead a dynamic classroom environment, fostering early childhood development through engaging activities, compassionate caregiving, and effective classroom management. Duties

  • Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers
  • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
  • Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior
  • Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed; maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress and developmental milestones
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregivers to ensure high-quality care and instruction
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development and adapt activities accordingly

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting, especially with toddlers
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
  • Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
  • Excellent classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities
  • Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively and positively
  • Experience with childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and developmental activities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with parents, team members, and children
  • Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning from an early age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
