Lead Toddler Teacher – Joyful Hearts Childcare Center
Location: Pawtucket, RI

About the Role
Joyful Hearts Childcare Center is looking for a dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will guide toddlers in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, explore, and grow. You’ll work alongside other educators to provide hands-on learning experiences and support each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity and learning
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Support toddlers’ independence, confidence, and social skills
• Collaborate with co-teachers to create engaging classroom experiences
• Communicate regularly with families regarding milestones and classroom updates

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with at least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits
• CDA certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Passion for early childhood education and play-based learning
