Overview
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young children will inspire growth, curiosity, and joy. Duties

  • Plan and implement enriching daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development tailored specifically for toddlers.
  • Lead classroom management efforts to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence.
  • Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to ensure high-quality care and educational standards are maintained.
  • Foster strong relationships with children and their families through regular communication, updates, and collaborative planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and health guidelines, to maintain a secure environment.
  • Incorporate best practices in early childhood education and special education to support children with diverse needs or disabilities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities for ongoing assessment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings, especially with toddlers or infants.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies.
  • Strong classroom experience with effective classroom management skills and behavior management techniques.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, parents, and external specialists to support children's growth.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information about children's progress and needs.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
