Position: Lead Toddler Teacher
Location: Redeemer Lutheran Early Childcare and Learning Center – St. Clair Shores, MI
Pay: $15–$17 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Full-Time

Redeemer Lutheran Early Childcare and Learning Center is hiring!
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our wonderful team and help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports child development
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing requirements
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom helpers
• Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress

Qualifications:

• CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
• Passion for working with children in a faith-based environment
