Next Steps Learning Center in Carver is looking for a full-time Lead Teacher to join our amazing team!

We’re seeking someone who brings creativity, warmth, and professionalism to the classroom — someone who truly loves helping young learners grow, explore, and thrive each day.

What You’ll Do

• Create and implement engaging weekly lesson plans
• Design a welcoming, well-organized classroom that inspires discovery
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Communicate regularly with parents to support each child’s success
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and maintain safe ratios
• Help with diapering, feeding, nap times, and classroom organization
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a joyful, team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For

• DHS Rule 3 qualified (required)
• Experience in an early childhood classroom
• Dependable, caring, and genuinely passionate about working with children
• Current or willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, SIDS, and Shaken Baby certifications
• Able to lift, bend, and sit on the floor during active play
• A gentle, patient, and professional demeanor
