Lead Toddler Teacher

Scribbles & Giggles Child Care Learning Center is looking to expand their team with individuals that seek to have an impact on the lives of children, offering opportunities to work in our toddler classroom as a Lead Teacher.

Job Responsibilities: Plan and implement daily lessons for the children. Observe and evaluate each child’s progress. Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents. Maintain communication with parents.

Job Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a child care setting. Must complete all Health & Safety Trainings within required time frame. Complete all Infant/toddler training classes within 90 days of hire. Must be willing to work toward a CDA or associate's degree. Priority given to applicants who already have met the Licensing requirements. This position is M-F and full time. Start time can be flexible between 7am - 8:30am and will be set upon hiring.

We are located just W of downtown Lansing, off Saginaw Hwy and down the road from Sexton High School, in between downtown and the Lansing Mall.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Show proof of a negative TB Test
• Complete a fingerprint background check (company paid)
• Have a CDA or associates degree in infant and toddler or willing to work toward it immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
