Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Duties

• Lead daily classroom activities designed to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, needs, and achievements
• Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures
• Observe individual children’s behaviors and developmental milestones to tailor activities that support their growth

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers
• Proven classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and engagement
• Strong leadership abilities to guide a team of educators effectively
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, and community partners
• Experience in preschool or daycare settings with a focus on toddler care
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
• Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote social-emotional learning

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
