Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will inspire young learners during their formative years, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, growth, and development. As a leader in the classroom, you will guide and support a team of educators while ensuring that each child's unique needs are met with care and professionalism. Your dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and success for our youngest students.

Duties

  • Lead daily classroom activities, creating engaging lesson plans aligned with childhood development principles and early childhood education standards
  • Foster a warm, safe, and inclusive environment where toddlers feel secure to explore and learn
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers, promoting teamwork and professional growth
  • Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and health regulations
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns
  • Coordinate classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and developmental assessments

Experience

  • Previous experience with using Experience Learning curriculum and Brightwheel is a plus
  • Previous experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is essential
  • Demonstrated classroom management skills in early childhood education environments
  • Knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices in preschool education
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or behavior management is a plus
  • Proven ability to lead a team of childcare professionals with strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with infant care, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving roles that involve working closely with young children

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
