Lead Toddler Teacher

Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire and shape the development of our littlest learners. In this dynamic role, you will lead a dedicated classroom of toddlers, creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and joy. Your expertise in childhood development and classroom management will ensure each child receives personalized care and educational support, laying a strong foundation for their future learning adventures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily classroom activities tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers, fostering exploration and social interaction
  • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards at all times
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's unique needs
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high-quality care standards
  • Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and consistent routines
  • Maintain accurate records of children's developmental milestones, attendance, and daily activities

Skills

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, especially with toddlers
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs, including implementing individualized care plans
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to foster a nurturing learning environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly with parents, colleagues, and children in a positive manner
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and caregiving practices such as babysitting or nannying

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
