We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers, providing guidance on best practices in childcare and classroom management.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
- Implement behavior management strategies that support positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
- Ensure compliance with licensing standards, health protocols, and documentation requirements related to early childhood education.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers.
- Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom experience with toddlers.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and nurturing environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of early childhood educators effectively.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with early childhood education curricula, infant care techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members professionally.
