Summary

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Plant City Early Learning Academy. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a love for learning in young children through engaging and creative educational experiences. Your contributions will help shape our students' futures in STEM and the arts.
Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that integrate STEM concepts with artistic expression.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Assess and monitor children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
• Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities as required.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum offerings.
• Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).

• Proven experience working with preschool-aged children (required).
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles (required).
• Excellent classroom management skills (required).
• First aid certification (preferred).
• Experience in special education or working with children with disabilities (preferred).
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate arts into STEM education (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
