Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Lead Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for one and two year olds. Responsibilities
- Implement curriculum development tailored to toddlers, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and play-based methods where applicable.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes childhood development and encourages curiosity.
- Engage with children through activities that enhance social-emotional skills, behavior management, and early intervention strategies.
- Provide classroom management by maintaining organization, safety protocols, and ensuring a clean learning space.
- Provide attentive toddler care and support children with special education needs to ensure inclusive learning.
- Foster open communication with children and parents to promote child welfare and address individual needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required.
- For Lead Teachers, college credits in early childhood education are strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, standardized testing preparation, and tutoring is advantageous.
- Experience with special education, early intervention programs, and play-based methods is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with young learners.
- Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while ensuring child safety and welfare.
- Relevant certifications in childhood development or early childhood education are desirable; however, all positions require applicants to meet minimum qualification standards.
