Lead Toddler Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills in toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and support their early development milestones. As a leader in the classroom, you will collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement dynamic lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, focusing on literacy education, early intervention, and childhood development.
  • Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, motor skills, and cognitive growth tailored for toddlers.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to ensure a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special education needs or accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of children's development, attendance, and assessments aligned with standardized testing requirements.
  • Ensure safety and well-being by adhering to childcare regulations, practicing proper toddler care techniques, and managing classroom safety protocols.
  • Support ongoing professional development in areas such as Montessori methods, preschool experience strategies, and teaching physical education to young children.

Requirements

  • Proven classroom management experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a daycare or private school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early childhood education practices, and special education strategies.
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education initiatives for young learners.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is preferred.
  • Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a joyful learning environment.
