Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at Lightbridge Academy. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young minds and creating a safe, engaging learning environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Engage with children in educational activities that enhance their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure the best practices in early childhood education are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children is essential.
• First aid certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to children's needs.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
