Bright Stars is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working teacher to join our team! We are a community-based center that focuses on giving our children a home away from home. We rely on teacher communication, collaboration, and positive attitudes to care for our little ones! Qualifications: Stars training, CPR Certified, Portable Background check, Food Handler's card.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement innovative curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management techniques.
- Engage children in literacy education through storytelling, interactive reading sessions, and creative activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Lead physical education activities that promote health, coordination, and teamwork among students.
- Clean, maintain and organize your classroom.
- Duties may include help in the kitchen.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Experience in behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to foster holistic growth in young learners.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
