Next Gens Academy is looking for a joyful, patient, and engaging Lead Teacher to guide our 12–30 month classroom—a time full of growth, exploration, and big developmental milestones.

What You’ll Do

Lead Your Classroom
· Create a safe, nurturing, and structured toddler environment
· Support routines that build security and independence
· Model patience, positivity, and strong classroom leadership
· Maintain an organized, engaging, and DCF-compliant space

Teach & Support Development
· Support rapid language development through talking, singing, and reading
· Guide social development (parallel play, early sharing, interaction)
· Plan hands-on, sensory-based activities that encourage exploration
· Use positive guidance to help toddlers navigate emotions and transitions

Keep Children Safe
· Maintain constant supervision and active engagement
· Conduct daily health checks
· Follow all Wisconsin DCF licensing regulations
· Ensure a clean, safe classroom environment

Partner with Families
· Communicate daily updates through Playground
· Build trusting, supportive relationships with parents
· Share developmental progress and milestones

Qualifications
✔ Meet Wisconsin DCF Lead Teacher requirements
✔ Experience working with infants/toddlers preferred
✔ Strong understanding of early development (12–30 months)
✔ 18+ years old
✔ Background check clearance
