Lead Toddler Teacher (with Leadership Pathway)

About Twin Cities Community Preschool

Twin Cities Community Preschool (TCCP) is a play-based, parent-participatory preschool in Corte Madera with an outdoor-focused environment that supports collaboration, communication, and creative exploration through play.

Curriculum emerges from children’s interests and is shaped through relationships within our cooperative community. Children share ideas through play and conversation, while teachers and parent-teachers collaborate to observe, reflect, and thoughtfully prepare environments that support deeper learning.

Our community works together to create hands-on, sensory-rich experiences that encourage sustained play, outdoor exploration, and meaningful engagement. Children are supported in taking risks, getting messy, and learning alongside peers and caring adults, while seasonal events bring families and educators together to build strong, lasting relationships.

Toddler Program Overview

The toddler program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. From September through January, toddlers have a dedicated wing of the school and use of the front yard, rotating regularly to our beautiful playground. Beginning in January, toddlers are gradually and thoughtfully integrated with our mixed-age preschool program (ages 3–5) in a developmentally responsive way.

Lead Teacher Role

We are seeking a warm, experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team, with a supported pathway toward an Assistant Director role. This is a full-time, teaching-forward role that works closely with the Director, school administrator, and Afternoon Lead Teacher to provide an engaging, dynamic environment throughout the day. The Lead Toddler Teacher serves as the primary educator for our toddler program (ages 2–3), supports the afternoon preschool program, and gradually takes on expanded leadership responsibilities with mentorship and support.
