Lead Toddler/Preschool Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler/Preschool Teacher to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment. In this pivotal role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and support the holistic development of children aged from toddler through preschool age. Your passion for early childhood education will help lay a strong foundation for each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. As a leader in the classroom, you will collaborate with fellow educators to implement innovative teaching strategies that promote curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity among children.
  • Lead daily classroom activities focusing on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and individualized support for children with special needs or requiring early intervention.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any behavioral or learning concerns.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or classroom aides to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom management and lesson planning.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that promotes literacy education, numeracy skills (including math), and physical activity.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
