LEAD Veterinary Receptionist - FULL TIME

POSITION OVERVIEW

As our Lead Veterinary Receptionist, you will serve as the face and voice of the practice while guiding the front desk team. This role blends hands-on client service with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and an exceptional client experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support the front desk team
  • Assist management with training current and new staff
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients in person, over the phone, via text, and email
  • Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and front desk efficiency
  • Handle client communications, billing, and payment processing
  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and management to ensure the best client and patient experience
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least TWO years of veterinary receptionist experience required
  • At least ONE year of leadership experience required
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced and stressful environment
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to work well independently and take initiative at the appropriate times
  • Accepting of different personality types
  • Ability to give and receive constructive criticism in a professional environment
  • Adapts easily to change
  • Passion for animal care AND for client care (we need personable receptionists who enjoy helping people as much as they love helping animals)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, even when multitasking

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
