Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and efficient In-House Video Editor to serve as the primary editor for our agency. This role is central to our content production process and requires someone who can work hand-in-hand with our Manager and Lead Videographer to produce high-quality, performance-driven video content across multiple industries.
Our clients range from restaurants and auto glass companies to plumbing, roofing, and other service-based businesses. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering polished content quickly in a fast-paced agency environment. This position offers the opportunity to play a major role in shaping the visual output of a growing digital marketing company.
Duties
- Lead the editing process from raw footage to final delivery, ensuring content aligns with client goals and brand standards
- Work directly with the Manager and Lead Videographer to execute content strategy and creative direction
- Edit short-form vertical content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) optimized for engagement and performance
- Edit long-form content for websites, YouTube, and advertising campaigns
- Incorporate captions, motion graphics, typography, color grading, sound design, and branding elements using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Create basic supporting graphics, thumbnails, and simple design assets when needed
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting strict turnaround times
- Organize footage, project files, and digital assets using structured workflows and storage systems
- Ensure all content meets platform-specific technical specifications for social media, web, and paid ads
- Collaborate with internal team members to maintain consistency across different industries and brand styles
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating short-form and ad-style content
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Working knowledge of motion graphics and basic graphic design principles
- Experience editing marketing or business-related content (not just cinematic or personal projects)
- Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, audience retention, and performance-based editing
- Ability to deliver fast turnaround times without sacrificing quality
- Experience managing multiple projects and adapting to different brand voices
- Strong organizational skills and file management discipline
- Ability to receive feedback and implement revisions efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional team members

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
