Videographer / Cinematographer (Lead, 2nd Shooter, Intern Roles Available)

ViVA Media Co. is expanding and seeking passionate, story-driven videographers and cinematographers who can deliver high-quality, cinematic content across weddings, events, marketing campaigns, and branded productions.

This is not a “button pusher” role — we are looking for creatives who understand how to capture emotion, tell a story, and produce polished, professional work from start to finish.

We are hiring for:

• Lead Videographers (Team Leadership + Full Production)
• Second Shooters (Support + Capture)
• Interns (Entry-Level / Training Position)

What You’ll Do

• Lead and/or assist in the planning, filming, and execution of high-quality video content
• Capture cinematic footage at weddings, events, and commercial shoots
• Direct subjects when needed to create natural, story-driven moments
• Handle full post-production workflow including editing, color grading, sound design, and basic motion graphics
• Produce cinematic highlight reels that tell a complete story
• Collaborate with photographers, creatives, and team members to deliver cohesive multimedia content
• Maintain organized workflows for footage, assets, and final deliverables
• Ensure all content meets brand standards, technical specs, and deadlines

• Strong ability to tell a story through video (REQUIRED)
• A creative eye for composition, lighting, and movement
• Passionate, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work
• Time-conscious and reliable in fast-paced event environments
• Professional with clients and team members
• Not a “button pusher” — you understand intention behind every shot

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating your videography/cinematography work (REQUIRED)
• Experience with cameras, gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment
• Editing experience (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Understanding of post-production workflows (color grading, sound, sequencing)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Leadership ability (for Lead roles)

Bonus Skills (Not Required):
Motion graphics, After Effects, basic animation, graphic design, advanced color grading

Compensation

We reward performance, professionalism, and results:

• Interns: $15/hour
• Second Shooters: $16–$18/hour + tips + 10%–15% commission
• Lead Videographers: $18–$20/hour (negotiable) + tips + 15%–20% commission
