Summary

We are seeking a passionate Lead VPK Teacher to join our team at Neighborhood Kids. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. Your leadership will play a crucial role in fostering their development and instilling values that will guide them throughout their lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with our educational philosophy.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Guide and mentor assistant teachers in best practices for early childhood education.
• Assess children's developmental needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Promote social skills and emotional growth through structured activities.
• Incorporate faith-based teachings into daily lessons to nurture spiritual growth.

Requirements

• Florida VPK Teacher Crediential
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting is required
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents.
• Ability to create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education.
