Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise welding and fabrication activities across multiple projects, ensuring work meets all safety regulations and quality standards.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics to guide fabrication processes accurately.
- Perform advanced welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding to produce high-quality welds on various materials such as sheet metal, pipe, and ductwork.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, metal brake machines, and shears to shape, and assemble metal components efficiently.
- Operate rigging equipment like cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy materials or assemblies on-site or within the workshop.
- Ensure all work complies with ASME codes & standards as well as company-specific safety protocols; maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Collaborate with the project manager and team members to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a strong background in welding and fabrication environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; familiarity with welding preferred.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics for precise assembly instructions.
- Proficient in operating hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, machining equipment, and rigging gear such as cranes and forklifts.
- Knowledge of AWS codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices; ability to interpret technical specifications accurately.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in pipe threading.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations essential for measurements and fabrication tolerances; familiarity with schematics is a plus.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
