Lead Young Toddler Teacher ( 18-24 months)

Dublin Learning Academy is looking for a qualified Teacher to help children develop a love of learning. Teachers implement a rich curriculum that uses hands on learning to reach educational goals. A teacher must have a great love and patience for children. Qualifications include knowledge of educational methods as well as the ability to engage students. The goal is for each student to learn and grow in a loving and nurturing environment.

We are looking for a team player that will help support our infant / Toddler programs. We have small class size with 6 or 7 students per classroom. Dublin Learning Academy is a curriculum based school and teachers work with a curriculum administrator. DLA offers above average pay and a professional environment for teachers who take the art of teaching seriously.

Responsibilities

• Develop a careful and creative lesson plan suitable for the student's age
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, role playing) to teach children
• Work with each child to help them learn social skills and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve conflict
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly
• Collaborate with other teachers
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Skills

• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods

• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
