Description

The Leadership Advisory Services (LAS) Expert will leverage deep domain knowledge to execute a diverse range of leadership and talent consulting projects. This individual will play a key role in partnering with other members of the LAS team and client teams across industries and functions to sell and deliver holistic leadership advisory solutions. These solutions span leadership assessment and development, team effectiveness, cultural transformation, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives.

The Expert will develop complex business development presentations that require innovative thinking and will work autonomously alongside senior consultants on client mandates. This could include leading a project work stream—requiring project management and team leadership skills—or contributing as part of a larger team executing assessments and advisory engagements, which demands sophisticated interviewing, facilitation, and thought leadership. The Expert will interact with clients in a mature, collaborative manner, sometimes independently and at other times in a team leadership role, depending on project requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Drive implementation of leadership advisory solutions together with consultants, including leadership assessment, team effectiveness programs, cultural transformation initiatives, and capability-building workshops.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the team on all aspects of the project by identifying and developing a high-quality, rigorous approach. Collaborate with global LAS experts to supplement specialized knowledge.
  • Support execution in terms of project management, creation of leadership assessment and development frameworks, interpretation of psychometric results (once accredited), and design of team and organizational interventions.
  • Lead client interactions throughout the project, partnering with senior consultants as needed for complex mandates.
  • Participate in pitch meetings and shape proposals for a wide range of leadership advisory services.
  • Leverage strategic insights to understand client needs and spot opportunities for broader advisory engagements beyond assessments.
  • Advise teams on pricing strategies to maximize profitability and quality.
  • Once trained, participate in assessments, lead calibration sessions, create summary analyses, conduct references, deliver psychometric feedback, design targeted workshops, facilitate team sessions, and craft creative leadership development solutions.
  • Continuously deepen expertise on leadership trends, team dynamics, and organizational culture through internal and external research and networks.
  • Monitor market movements, company activity, and broader industry trends to identify potential business development opportunities and rally the team around specific actions.
  • Conduct internal research for marketing materials that may be used for white papers or articles, in partnership with consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with local and global leadership on key practice knowledge initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Create awareness of Egon Zehnder’s capabilities and expertise in the external community through personal or industry networks.

What We're Looking For

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build deep relationships and influence.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills to facilitate frequent interaction with colleagues globally and build trust-based working relationships.
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive for learning; seeks input from colleagues to find better solutions.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and tenacious.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in operating in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills—defining objectives, setting milestones, updating stakeholders, and ensuring quality.
  • Resourceful and collaborative—leveraging global expertise to build better solutions.
  • Structured and systematic in approach.
  • International and multicultural outlook and mindset.
  • Proactive with courage to challenge the status quo.
  • Resilient with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Leadership Advisory, including areas such as Talent Management, Coaching, Facilitation, Leadership Assessment & Development, Team Effectiveness, Cultural Transformation, and Organizational Development.
