Lean Six Sigma Trainer

Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Lean Six Sigma Trainer as a part time Consultant to support our continuous improvement initiatives. This part-time consultant will provide training, coaching, and project support to staff to build internal capability and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency and organizational performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Education

• Develop and deliver Lean Six Sigma training (Yellow Belt/Green Belt level or customized formats) ideally tailored to healthcare initiatives.
• Facilitate hands-on workshops, process mapping sessions, Kaizen events, and problem-solving sessions.
• Provide tools, templates, and best-practice methodologies for staff learning and adoption.

Continuous Improvement Project Support

• Coach teams through improvement projects from problem definition to implementation and sustainment.
• Guide staff in using Lean tools (5S, standard work, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, etc.) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC).
• Support the design and measurement of KPIs and process metrics.
• Ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

Organizational Development

• Help build a culture of continuous learning and improvement across departments.
• Provide recommendations to leadership on operational inefficiencies, process redesign opportunities, and improvement roadmaps.
• Mentor internal champions to strengthen long-term capability.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 20.0 per week
